ACCADEMIA DI BELLE ARTI DI LECCE, founded in 1960, is one of the oldest public higher art schools in Puglia, Italy. The college is located in the picturesque ancient city of Lecce. Since 1970, the Academy has moved to the former Dominican Monastery, a 17th-century building that not only enriches the cultural heritage of Lecce, but also makes the college itself like a work of art.
The Academy of Fine Arts of Lecce offers a wide range of art and design programmes, from basic fine arts to digital media arts to contemporary artistic expression, with a curriculum that aims to combine traditional art with modern technology and to develop students' practical skills and creative thinking.
